Any graduate can apply for upsc ias exam.....for prelims you shd b very strong in basics in subjects like Indian history geography polity economics n general science plus current events.....since aptitude paper 2 is qualifying in nature more concern shd be on general studies as above said..

I am suggesting you to start with reading CBSE NCERT books ,ATLAS & NEWS PAPER READING first & proceed further. it will take a atleast 9 months . so start there.
