That is MCA is more towards the usage of existing technologies while in MSc you learn the art of algorithm development. MSc is two years while MCA is of three years. So if you are already good in coding, you may opt for M.Sc CS/IT from any of the reputed universities. read less

U can go for MCA if you want make your career in IT company. M.Sc (Computer Sc) would be a preferred choice if you are willing to go for Ph.D to join in academic line.
