subject for UGC NET is not a random choice. It depends on ur Masters subject. In whichever subject anyone did masters he can apply for NET examination only in that subject.

Earlier I wanted to become a doctor, but later on due to family and all I jumped into engineering. Since you have done PG and interested on job you may start teaching in any of the Engineering colleges and register for Ph.D also as an external candidate. You should also write UGC NET exam in your field
