NET paper I is mainly based on knowledge of basic science aptitude. NCERT books of class 11 and 12 are very much helpful. In addition, MCQ books of ARIHANT publication and PATHFINDER publication are good. In addition, collection of MCQs of different exams also help in paper I.

You should go for books which contain a large number of model questions so that you will be able to practice well. Also keep in mind that you will be getting 6 or seven questions from each paper like Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge, Research Methodology, etc. But you should not skip any papers since each mark has its value. read less

What is the charge for CBSE Net coaching for paper 1.
Hello Kalai, UG-NET coaching for paper would charge you around 12-15k if you are taking it in an institution but with private tutors it may increase upto 25k.So choose wisely. All the best. :)
