There is no age limit for ugc net exam. However age limit is fixed for ugc net jrf

Is it necessary to take UGC NET coaching?
Well it totally depends on you. To conclude that you can solve previous year question papers and get an idea where you stand. If the concepts are not clear you must take coaching because at the end its conceptual based exam.
