tough and easy is personal question, what seems easy to one may be difficult for other. UGC Net is easy when you have command on your subject, the good knowledge of basics of subject makes the exam easy for you

Since you have done PG and interested on job you may start teaching in any of the Engineering colleges and register for Ph.D also as an external candidate. You should also write UGC NET exam in your field
