Can a person get a job as an assistant professor after cracking the UGC NET exam without having a B.Ed degree?

Yes , UGC-NET exam is the minimum eligilbility requirement in colleges to get a job as assistant professor. B.Ed degree is mainly required for teaching in schools at secondary or higher secondary levels.

Earlier I wanted to become a doctor, but later on due to family and all I jumped into engineering. I am new to this site..basically I am engineering graduate, and have 3yrs exp working as a software engineer in a MNC. I just completed my master's in HR through online mode. Am I eligible for writing NET.
