Are mtech IT students eligible to write ugc net (computer sciences). And Pl tell me what are the benefits of qualifying ugc net?

Yes M.Tech IT is eligible. UGC net is basic qualification of A.P as per UGC norm in Science.

u can check UGC/CSIR site for details. after qualiyfying NET one is eligible for lecturership only. if one qualifies JRF , Junior research fellowship, also then eligible for Scholarship also. .

Yes they are eligible to appear in the NET exam. NET is a qualifying exam for the lecturership.

Since you have done PG and interested on job you may start teaching in any of the Engineering colleges and register for Ph.D also as an external candidate. You should also write UGC NET exam in your field
