ommon English grammar mistakes vary, but here are some prevalent ones: Subject-Verb Agreement: Errors arise when the subject and verb do not match in number (e.g., "The team are winning" instead of "The team is winning"). Misplaced or Dangling Modifiers: When modifiers are not correctly placed near the word they modify, it can create confusion (e.g., "Running quickly, the dog was caught" instead of "The dog was caught running quickly"). Using Incorrect Verb Tenses: Incorrectly shifting between past, present, and future tenses within a sentence or paragraph. Pronoun Errors: Using incorrect pronouns or mismatching pronouns with their antecedents (e.g., "Everyone must bring their book" instead of "Everyone must bring his or her book"). Apostrophe Misuse: Confusing its (possessive) and it's (contraction of "it is"). Also, misusing apostrophes in plural forms (e.g., apple's instead of apples). Run-on Sentences and Fragments: Joining independent clauses without proper punctuation or separating incomplete thoughts as sentences. Comma Splices and Misuse: Using commas incorrectly to connect independent clauses without a coordinating conjunction or using them excessively. Confusing Homophones: Words that sound alike but have different meanings or spellings (e.g., their/there/they're, your/you're, its/it's). Double Negatives: Using two negative words in a sentence that cancel each other out (e.g., "I don't want nothing" instead of "I don't want anything"). Confusing Comparative and Superlative Forms: Misusing comparative (-er) and superlative (-est) forms of adjectives (e.g., "good, better, best" instead of "good, more good, most good"). Confusing Prepositions: Misusing prepositions in sentences, affecting the meaning (e.g., "I'm good in playing soccer" instead of "I'm good at playing soccer"). Sentence Structure Errors: Errors in sentence construction, including parallelism issues or lack of clarity in sentence arrangement. read less

Most of the students are unable to make a correct and complete sentence due to lack of knowledge. Mostly they forget to mention the right article at the right place. They don't add "s" or "es" with the verb while making a sentence in simple present tense. In an interrogative sentence if you have chosen the auxiliary verb as "Did", then after placing the subject you should mention the present form of the main verb. But most of the people make a lot of mistakes at the time of choosing the right form of verb. Without having enough knowledge in preposition, you'll not be able to make a correct sentence. Everyone ought to have enough knowledge in joining and splitting as well. read less
