Practice saying the sentences below out loud to get a feel for how to use “What would?” when asking a question.

Answer 

1. I would like to eat bread and butter. 2. I would do that for my health. 3. People would say that I’m in love. 4. I would become nervous. 5. I would write about my holiday. 6. My preference would be to join the navy. 7. She would cook vegetarian dishes. 8. I would give him something to eat. 9. The result would be encouraging. 10. They would sing the national anthem.
