The best way to improve fluency in English is by speaking. Do not fear what the other person might think about your spoken skill because when you restrict yourself you will get stuck. The more you speak, the more fluent you would become. Other methods include 1) Watching the news, infotainment, drama, movies in English- this will help you to build both your vocabulary and improve your accent. 2)Reading books- Start with a small book in your genre of interest with simple Englishread it aloud as if you are narrating to someone( this will help you to read the sentences with expression and to know where and when to give a pause). As you read one book after the other, go for bigger ones with an advanced level of English. 3) Writing- You could start by writing about your feelings, daily activities, about trending topics. This will help you align your thoughts and expressing them. Once you are able to do this, try to record yourself speakingabout topics of interest. when you listen yourself speaking, your confidence levels will rise and you will get rid of stage fear. When you are confident and have no stage fear, words will flow out of you like that of other speakers. 4)Practice the online practice tests in English that include testing your reading, listening, writing and spoken skills. read less
