Teaching Experience in detail in Class 10 Tuition
My name is Harsh Bassi, and I specialize in teaching Science to Class 10 students, with a strong focus on board exam preparation. My teaching approach is clear, structured, and result-driven. I ensure students first understand the core NCERT concepts thoroughly, and then I guide them in applying these concepts through detailed notes, important questions, and regular practice tests. In Science, I cover all three branches — Physics, Chemistry, and Biology — in an easy-to-understand and relatable way. I use real-life examples, diagrams, flowcharts, and memory tricks (mnemonics) to make learning Science simple, interesting, and exam-focused. I also teach smart answer-writing techniques and time management skills needed to excel in board exams. Special focus areas include: Physics: Light – Reflection and Refraction, Electricity, Magnetic Effects of Electric Current Chemistry: Chemical Reactions and Equations, Acids, Bases and Salts, Metals and Non-metals Biology: Life Processes, How do Organisms Reproduce?, Heredity and Evolution I not only aim to complete the syllabus on time but also regularly revise and conduct mock tests to boost confidence and accuracy. Many of my students have shown remarkable improvement and scored 90% and above in Science under my mentorship. My mission is to make Science easy, interesting, and scoring for every Class 10 student.

This is the preparation phase — the cell is not dividing yet, but it's getting ready to divide.
It has 3 stages:
Cell grows in size
Makes proteins, enzymes & organelles
Checks if everything is okay to move to the next step
βοΈ Checkpoint present to control cell division
DNA replication happens here
Each chromosome makes a copy → now you have sister chromatids
π§ͺ Centrioles also duplicate in animal cells
Cell continues to grow
Prepares for mitosis by making special proteins and microtubules
βοΈ Final checks before division
Now the actual division of the nucleus and cytoplasm happens. It has 2 parts:
Divided into 4 stages:
Chromosomes condense & become visible
Nuclear membrane breaks down
Spindle fibers start forming
Chromosomes line up in the middle (equator) of the cell
Spindle fibers attach to the centromere of each chromosome
Sister chromatids are pulled apart to opposite poles
Now each side gets an identical set of chromosomes
Chromosomes start de-condensing
Nuclear envelope reforms around each set
Cell has two nuclei now — one at each end
In animal cells: done by cleavage (furrow)
In plant cells: done by cell plate formation
2 identical daughter cells
Same number of chromosomes as the parent cell (if mitosis)
