I have taught grade 1-10 students at a learning centre for disadvantaged children for 3 years and at a government english medium school as a teach for india fellow for 2 years. I have also provided private one-to-one classes. Additionally, I have been a trainer for teachers and government officials, working closely to influence state level education policies. In my most recent job I headed the program design department in educational NGO. Currently as I'm doing this alongside a full time job, I'm only available for online tutoring. I started teaching just as a hobby and now it has grown out to be the thing that I enjoy the most. Teaching school children enables me to work on their basics, and I am challenged to be nurturing, creative and patient. I try to make the learning experience more interactive and engaging.
