Teaching is exhilarating. I never feel more energized than after a class that has gone well. I remember feeling that way the first day I taught in a class. As a teacher, I want my students to make connection between events and people and institutions. Sometimes the simplest teaching techniques can work the best. But I use charts and diagrams and other visual representations to articulate and understand the problem.
