Pros: High performance, especially for large databases. Scalable and optimized for Oracle workloads. Built-in redundancy for high availability. Cons: Expensive. Complex to manage and requires skilled staff. Limited to Oracle databases.

Performance : good for OLTP and DW for Bigdata and middataHigh Cost , Vendor lock.Better to go with opensource Apache Spark with DeltaLake/ApacheHudi/ApacheIceberg for mid and very bigdata . You can scale as you grow.
