An Oracle Certification , has a lot of weightage.However , just certification is not good enough , you need a good subject knowledge with hands-on.Infact, this is true for any domain.

Only aspect that helps in securing a JOB is knowledge. A certification can add value to your profile provided you have knowledge to justify that. Chances for JOB doesn't gets enhanced just because of certification. I'll say, if you are looking for a JOB then target on acquiring knowledge.

Hi Himsikha, I agree with Nikesh. Doing a Certification in India not going to make big difference in job opportunities. At the end of the day they will check your skills in interview. Certification will practically help in ur appraisal process / during Visa Processing (in context to india).
