.Not streching and warming up. This is very important to do streching and warming up before dance to make flexibility and loosen the muscle.streching avoid injury. 2.Dancing on too tired and hungry feet. This is one of mistake done even tired. 3.Poor Posture. Bad posture is another common mistake done by dancer.This can be corrected by standing or sitting straight which will help to improve posture. 4.Not practicing This is common mistake.Practice make man perfect.By doing practice one can improve dance performance. 5.Not listening to your instructor.It is dancers duty to listen and follow the instructions given by instructor.

There are common mistakes while dancing kathak dance.
1.Poor posture.-This is very important to do the posture stable and this can be improved by standing or sitting up straight.
2.Streching Exercises - This is very important to do streching exercise before dancing.Streching increase flexibility and muscles strength.
3.Dance after too tired -This reduces the ficus on dance because of tiredness muscles.
4 Not listening to Instructor- This is very important point that beginners should listen instructions given by teacher and it should follow them to make dance successful.
