There are many things which are falling in the category of KEYBORD like Piano, Electronic Keyboard, Organ ,Harpsichord , Dulcitone even where you type on your computer that typing mechine is also a Keyboard ! But if I take your example which are following either Piano or Electronic Keyboard ( musical instruments) in that case you depends on a few but EXTREMELY important things. Like :1. What do you want to learn ? 2. How much practicing time can you provide ? 3. Who is teaching you ? ? ABOVE ALL PLEASE KEEP IN YOUR MIND THAT " THERE ARE NO SHORT- CUT WAY TO ACHIVE SOMETHING GOOD " IRESPECTIVE OF THINGS ? All the best ! read less

How much time will be take to learn and to ready for Casio keyboard ?
Well it takes 8 weeks to learn the basic with good foundation. And regular practice of 30 min a day will lead to your progress depending on your level of speed. You will be ready to play a simple song at least by 1 year comfortably.
