Yes you can very much learn keyboard online,only necessity is to have a good speed internet connection and skype,minimum 4mbps recommended

No there's a wide difference between online and tutor teaching personally ..... You have to understand each and every notations which is possible for u if u join classes

U must go for a trainer to develop the right temperament for instrument and avoid any unseen and unnoticed errors.

How many chords are there in keyboard. How much time will it typically take to pick up speed?
Your question itself is not correct. A chord is when 2 or more keys are pressed on the keyboard. A triad is a chord when the 1st, 3rd and 5th notes of a scale are played together. e.g if C,E & G keys are pressed together the C triad (chord) played.
