It is said, a cord of three strands is not easily broken, and it’s not a coincidence that we have a three-fold vision:
• To train and develop young individuals to become ready to serve the society-at-large
• To inspire and train the youth to lead an effective balanced life
• To organise training programs to help the youth understand the purpose of life
Former President Abdul Kalam said, “To succeed in your mission, you must have a single-minded devotion to your goal.”
And our single-minded devotion is to focus on providing cutting-edge yet affordable soft skills training to the youth, in order to help them understand the purpose of life and to increase their employability
Stories are a staple in the Indian culture. Our stories have inspired, invigorated, and influenced all through generations. Every day there is a story being told. Every day there is a story that inspires. Groom Institute is one such story.
Our story began in the year 2005.A bunch of young students decided to establish an NGO,called UDAAN, to provide training and development to the students of Jaipur city. They came up with an eclectic mix of training workshops and courses, from anger management to time management to personality development. By the end of the year 2008, the NGO moved deeper into the space of training and development through organising training for corporates, Professionals,Housewives and so on., UDAAN spent the next few years training and developing over 7000 students, across 50 schools and over 21 colleges of higher learning in Jaipur.
Now, in the year 2014, those efforts have culminated into what we call as The Groom Institute, which aims to provide “soft skills for a balanced life.”Over the past 6 months of its operations, over 500 individuals have benefited from its customised classes and workshops.
