What is the validity period of IELTS certificates? Does it expire?

Presently, an IELTS score is valid for two years for Australian General Skilled Migration (GSM) applications. The IELTS score is correct for two years. Recognized organizations will not usually accept a Test Report Form that is more than two years old unless one provides evidence that you would have actively maintained or tried to improve the English since one first took the test. Hence IELTS certificate is valid for only two years. So obviously after the period of 2 years, you would have to apply for it again and score a good band score again. Hope this helps read less
