Try to convert the meaning of each and every sentence u r speaking in english. Try to understand the meaning what u r speaking. I think this will help u.

Dear Jessy, I would suggest to follow the following set of rules, if you want good control over english. 1. Think in English - whatever the situation is, try to think in english except your mother tongue. 2. If you have siblings try to talk to them in english. 3. Don't bother about making mistakes while speaking, just through your words out. 4. Try learning 4 to 5 new words per day, use dictionary to get help. Try it out, this might help you a lot. There are lot many, each adds its own value. i think you should begin with reading novels. what you read, subconciously you'd end up using it in your thought. and secondly, start watching TV shows or movies. the more you listen the more fluent you would sound. in fact I would strongly suggest you do that. if i were to practice, I would spend at least 4 hours just listening. last but not least important, SPEAK. but dont be too concious about accuracy in the language. hope this helps. read less
