Composition or writing is the most challenging part of any exam. Be it during the school days or in an important exam like IELTS. The writing section of IELTS exam is considered difficult because students remain clueless, what can fetch them good score even after completing the paper. The uncertain nature of the writing section of IELTS exam makes it a dreaded one for applicants. While some get great scores in the IELTS writing section; some really cannot make it to standard score. What is the average marking range of the IELTS writing section? Score in the IELTS writing section can range between band-5 to band-8. That includes band-5, band-6, band-7 and band-8 respectively.

So what makes a good writing in IELTS? a)  Take a side of the notion When you start writing for IELTS essays, make sure you stick to your point from start to end. Shift in thoughts in the middle of the write up  annoys examiners and you may lose on score. b)  Grammar, spelling and punctuation The three main elements that forms the basic of a good writing. Alike others, you might ignore them.
