You can get a score of 7 if you fulfill the band parameters for writing. There are 4 band descriptors for the writing section. 1. Task achievement 2. Coherence and cohesion 3. Lexical resources 4. Grammatical range and accuracy. If you score well in each of the parameters, an average score is taken. The task 2 carries 2/3 band weightage. The score is doubled. Task 1 carries one third weightage. Finally the mean average for task 1 and task 2 is calcualted and then you get your score for Writing. read less

Working as a teacher of science

Well in Ielts writing there are two parts - task 1 and task 2. The former one is easy as compares to the latter . Combined bands of both tasks are divided by 2 . So if one has 8 in task 1 or 6 in task 2.overall writing will score 7 bands .

Practise Practise Practise until perfection.Use paragraphs as needed.Do not use many contractions and also use active voice phrases.7.5 score already has good handwriting , may be focus on basic tips.
