In IELTS exam you will be listening to US, British, Mexican and Canadian accent. If you focus on British and American accent you will very well handle it as the other accents are derived from these two primarily.

The first one being a basic conversation between two people of social context , the second one will be a lecture or a monologue . The third one shall be of academic background pertaining to a conversation between 3-4 individuals and the last would be a lecture again of academic interest. read less

Hi Sneha, All listening skill tests will be same as how you get in the exam. It will be of UK accent and few tests will be of US accent too.
