IdentityI have prepared students for the IELTS for one-on-one and in groups - for over fifteen years. There is nothing more satisfying than helping a student.
I consider that we only develop and advance when we are getting challenged, therefore, first and foremost, I help my students get comfortable with challenges as necessary hardship in the educational journey, and then I mentor them towards the best possible way to fill knowledge gaps systematically and move forward in acquiring new skills.
I am a CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers to Other Languages), and British Council certified tutor for the IELTS exam.
I teach the essentials and skills needed for all four areas of language skill tested by the IELTS-- speaking and listening, reading and writing. I will not judge you; I will just guide you. I can break the material down and present it to which you can relate and understand using prior knowledge and life know-how. Also, I mentor students on test-taking skills and studying skills while increasing their confidence in not only the material but themselves.
Most of the students that I have prepared for the IELTS did achieve the score they had set for themselves (usually ranging between 8 and 9). I am highly conversant with the overall IELTS format, and this allows me to train the exam takers.
