If you are applying for Canadian visitor visa then NO, IELTS is not required. IELTS is a English proficiency test which is designed to measure the Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills of the test takers who are willing to study and want apply for PR in Canada.

Practise Practise Practise until perfection.Use paragraphs as needed.Do not use many contractions and also use active voice phrases.7.5 score already has good handwriting , may be focus on basic tips.
