I'm a consultant psychologist with NET qualification. I have been in the teaching field since 2021. I have done a BSc and Masters in Psychology. Worked as an online tutor, home tutor, content developer, student counsellor and workshop coordinator aligned to my subject of qualification.

13 years of experience as a Special Educator & Professional Social Worker. I do remedial teaching, counseling sessions for students with special needs and behavior concerns. I adopt various strategies practiced and tools implemented in the United States of America to meet the diverse needs of the students. I strongly believe and practice in strength-based approach to increase the level of self-esteem and increase the student's responsibility for active participation in their learning. My sessions incorporate more experiential learning activities, Yoga therapy, Art therapy, Music therapy, and drama therapy. I also facilitate workshops for teachers on topics related to special education, trauma counseling, promoting peace, interfaith relations, sustainable community development, youth leadership, and employability skills.

Teaching English and Social Science curriculum to students with mild/moderate developmental disabilities. English language remediation and subject reinforcement Writing, implementing and evaluating Individualized Education Plans for designated students. Conducting remedial intervention classes for students with language based difficulty in primary, junior, middle and senior school. Collaborating with the regular education teacher in adapting the curriculum, providing appropriate modifications, its implementation and assessing progress. Conducting sensitization sessions for spreading awareness on special needs with mainstream classrooms Conducting Adolescent Education Program. Social skills and daily living schools. Workshops in Schools on Special Education - to build awareness and help Mainstream teachers.
