I found my true calling in education, which prompted me to leave the corporate setup and dive full-time into teaching. As I continued to teach, I realized that Mathematics was my core strength and where I could make the most impact. I gradually transitioned into teaching Mathematics and later Physics, especially for competitive exams like IIT JEE, where problem-solving skills and time management are critical for success. Currently, I am associated with Abhyas Edutech, where I train students not only for IIT JEE but also for CLAT. One of my most significant accomplishments here has been transforming the results of our batches. When I joined, there were no selections into IIMs. Within a short span, we achieved 60 IIM selections from a batch of just 40 students. This remarkable turnaround was made possible by a combination of rigorous planning, customized teaching strategies, and a deep understanding of each student’s learning style. In addition to my technical teaching, I also bring prior experience of coaching UPSC aspirants. This exposure to different domains—from law and civil services to engineering—has enriched my understanding of how students approach learning and has made me a more versatile and adaptive educator. I emphasize application-based learning and problem-solving skills, which are essential for competitive exams. My classes are conducted online, using PPTs and reference books for structured delivery. I don’t believe in rote learning; I prefer to guide students through logic, practice, and consistent reinforcement. I take great care in designing lesson plans and make each session interactive, so students remain engaged and motivated throughout the course. For me, the greatest reward is seeing my students succeed—not just in exams, but in building a strong academic mindset.
