Overview

Let me kindly introduce myself. My name is Dr Harshad Patel, originally from London with BSc (Hons), MSc, MPhil, PhD, FRSC and FIFE qualifications and with over 25 years experience of teaching (20years in the UK and further five years in India). I have through my experience in India, have ascertained that majority of Indian students fall back on their English language, not because of their downfall, but rather due to the incompetence of their English language teachers during their schooling years. This has enabled me to see the wide gap that exists in the manner in which the language is taught in this country and England. Hence, at London House of English, we have developed a unique way of teaching, which incorporates the British way together with our methodology, and in return, our students generally surpass their desired scores, as can be seen by the independent reviews posted by our happy students.
We have tutors that highly qualify from the UK and have the policy to employ only those teachers that have a higher qualification than the general IELTS certificate. It must at the same time be noted that by achieving an IELTS Band, 8 does not qualify an individual to become an IELTS instructor, just as an engineer graduate cannot claim to be an expert in teaching an engineering degree course! Teaching English langage at its best requires years of experience in adopting various techniques to extract the best out of any individual student.

"Sir helped me a lot to gain my confidence and help me to speak and present my self in business. Sir also taught me the art of understanding different types of people. His teaching style and the way Sir speaks really help me to build my strength. I am very much happy to say Sir is really a very very good teacher and all should speak to Sir if they have any speaking problems. "

"I met Sir through a friend of mine and needed help in my writing skills to crack IELTS. I sat four IELTS exams and used to always get 7-7.5, but I needed 8 in writing. With the help of Sir I finally managed to get my 8 Band in IELTS. Sir has a very unique way of teaching writing skills that integrate concept of powerful connectors and complex sentences coupled linking ideas is the correct order. Great help Sir and I will surely recommend all my friends to take your classes. Best of luck. "

Aniket....my way is only the British way....not really unique, just the style and content teaching is different to what you've been used to in India....Great work by you

"Amazing course in which every student discovered that cracking IELTS exams is easier than looking for short cuts. What is really good is that Sir explains what parts of English language the IELTS examiners are looking for and he then teaches those skills as part of the course. Sir then shows how easily one can handle the exams with the skills taught. Its a fun loving class and Sir assures that happy student is a happy learner. Wonderful experience Sir. Thank you. "
