In case you are interested in the general light music classes then anyting can work. If you are interested in Hindustani Classical, then you should choose a teacher who teaches in Guru Shishya Parampara. Do not look for teachers who would come home to dod a one to one class. Go to a guru who teaches in his/her house. I can give a long explanation on this but you miht get bored. It should be a group class and not one to one. All gurus of guru shishya parampara give personal attention to each and every student even in group classes.
