Learning any classical indian dance form requires patience and dedication. While learning kathak you should pay special attention to the tatkar (footwork) and chakkars(turns or rounds) . once you master these then try to increase the speed of the same as much as you can. These are the fundamentals of kathak which need to be done correctly and gracefully .
