This is endless debate. Some people like the tonality of Taylor and some like Martin's. It's totally upto you how you feel the tone.....vibe of the instrument. This is endless debate. Some people like the tonality of Taylor and some like Martin's. It's totally upto you how you feel the tone.....vibe of the instrument. If you are more comfortable and connect with Martin....then it is for you and vice versa. See every brand has it's own uniqueness. It happens sometimes on professional level that you like some texture of particular one guitar and some of other guitar. But it's is very rare that you will get all qualities in one guitar. That's why some professional guitarist uses more than one guitar. Even some has 5-10 as well. read less

Practice the chord shape first, once you get it right, practice switching the chords with common finger techniques. Once you are good at it practice whole thing with metronome.
