Classical Guitars: Guitar neck is wider, having nylon strings. Nylon strings are thicker and sound more mellow. Acoustic Guitar: Neck is thin, Steel strings, strings resonates longer and sounds brighter.

Guitar Tutor with 15 years Experience

There are two types of Acoustic Guitars Nylon String and Steel String. Nylon String Guitars are used for Classical Guitar while Steel String Acoustic is used for more contemporary music.

Both styles of guitar are actually Acoustic guitars but Classical models have nylon strings whereas the more modern instruments, which are referred to as Acoustic guitars, have steel strings

What should a 39 year age Bachelor do under such condition. I am also a patient of Epilepsy(but its very negligible). But, then I have to stay in some restrictions and restrict me to some desires, due. Now I found myself that I would feel very easy & settled in music, Guitar.
Hi Vikash, Guitar is a good choice. I do have a couple of students with epilepsy however this doesn't effect the guitar playing. Find a teacher and get started. All the best :)
