honest to his student, sometimes people teach slowly to bring out more money from student, dont let student feel that this is their stagnation point this is very major point for student

First of all he should be able to play guitar flawlessly.. A trainer should be patient as he has explain students n no of times if they are not getting in once. Trainer should know atleast basic music theory. Trainer should be punctual on time

Any Musical instrument tutor must have synchrinised knowledge of Theoratical knowledge as well as techical excellence of that instrument. Every instrument has its origin and its own way of playing it. Guitar is spanish musical instrument so the best way to teach guiatar is to teach it from the very basics and gradually moving towards the challenging exercises. Ultimately teaching the blues and chords side by side and then if the instructor is innovative, then he or she can teach instrument as in Indian classical way. Playing bollywood songs on guitar is not so good to teach students what are the root aesthetics of the instrument. I wish I have answered your question.. read less
