Can we use electric guitar strings on an acoustic guitar?

No absolutely no. Electric guitar strings will not produce any sound in acoustic guitar.

No... Acoustic guitars have their own type of strings..

You can use but it's not proper volume while your playing the instrument bcz strings are different for electric and for acoustic
