You will need a teacher to ell you if you are doing things correctly. Once you get past the initial stage of being comfortable with an acoustic guitar its time to buy and electric and try the same thing on the electric. Follow up with exercises for improving your playing. read less

You can start with simple strumming... But you'll have to learn chords .. start with the easy ones like A-minor, c-major etc... They are not difficult... Everything needs practice,, so does guitar playing.
