You need to use the reliable and authentic books for GRE. These are published by ETS (Education Testing Services) and can be bought from their website or Amazon.

No there is no such exam but in few cases Subject GRE test is recommended.

Many B-Schools have started accepting the GRE scores. And the GRE new format (after August 2011) tests you on several measures which were found only in GMAT. One thing is, the Critical Reasoning Section. Now in the GRE, you will have questions involving critical reasoning, though these are not as difficult as those found in the GMAT. Also there is more verbal reasoning and less of vocabulary in the new format GRE, which is another measure tested in the GMAT.
