No, "sie" means she in singular and they in plural. Capital "Sie" means you in formal way. "Es" is used as a neutral pronoun in german.

When it is "Sie" then the meaning you with respect and if it is "sie" then the meaning is she or they. So it would be "Sie sind" and "sie ist" or "sie sind" here the meaning of "sie sind" indicates they are and "Sie sind indicates you are" with respect
