Definately yes, but only when they meet the right tutor and when the kid is more interested in learning ballet.

Ask me; I started at 21; I'm a ballet teacher now with lots of students of different age groups I teach; there is no particular age bar for any dance form. Yes, it needs more work of flexibility and passion for keeping going; the road becomes easier with dedication and hardwork:)
