Hi, I am 26 and am a classical dancer (Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam) at the basic level. I want to continue to learn now. Can I start to learn any other form like Odissi or continue to learn the same Bharatanatyam/Kuchipudi?

Hi, Miss Madhusri it good tat you r learning an Indian classical dance form (Kuchipudi and Bharatanatyam ) and I start by Odissi dance form as well. It helps you to understand dance forms and its technical concept.

Sorry for such delayed response.. I am a kathak performer and teacher hence thought of sharing what I feel.. I think you should invest atleast a min of 6 to 7yrs in one artform (Kuchhipudi or bharatnatyam).. master it.. and then think of starting something else.. kehte hain na.. ghol ke pi lo.. here's...

There is no rule that you have to learn only this style not other style but as you already know this if you continue it will be easy for you learn further.
