Android apps are written in Java. There are tools out there to allow you to construct them in other environments and convert them to Java code. iOS apps are written in Objective-C. Not C, C++, or Java. Objective-C. Years ago other languages were supported, but not anymore.

C machine independent Programming Language? C is portable . Means What?
It can work on various hardware configuration . C doesnt require mandatory or same set of hardware to run program. A program can written on one comp. And can run on other comp.(machine)

I am a BTech graduate working in a BPO. I am not very good with programming but I want to leave BPO and get a good job now. Since I am a graduate in BTech(IT) I think I will have to look for Software jobs (otherwise I would be forced to join a bank or other govt jobs by the family, which I don't like). I am confused between Software testing and development. Testing doesn't give much career growth but doesn't require much coding abilities (good for me). Some asked me to learn Android development. I am totally confused and I don't have much time left. Please help me.
