How many types of meditation are there? Can anyone define.

Meditation or Dhyana Yoga. Dhyana is different from Dhyana Yoga. There are no types in Dhyana Yoga, it's purpose os only one. The purpose of Dhyana Yoga is to have a "Mental activity on Isvara" Thus knowing all about Isvara is a pre-qualification in doing Dhyana Yoga.

Yoga needs to be done in the morning or it can be done anytime during the day ?

It is better do in the morning during sunrise - ushakala. Alternatively it can be done in the evening too, while sunset. But care must be taken not to do after the intake of food.

Concentration is different from meditation. The purpose of meditation is different and it is nothing to do with concentration.

Why Yoga is misinterpreted nowadays as a bodily conception? Lets discuss. -- Yoga acharya Karthik

I hope, you mean asana. Yoga is not only about asana - physical activity. Before asana there are Yama and Niyama, when we ignore to value Yama and Niyama, we end up giving undue value for asana. Till people who teach Astanga Yoga do not give importance to Yama and Niyama, people will continue misinterpreting not only asana but dhyana, samadhi and moksha too.
