physics, maths

its due to friction b/w tyre n road which is oppose motion of byscle continuously n after some time will stop byscle due to friction
Comments

It is because of friction present between the surface of bicycle's tyre and the road. Its not only with the bicycle but with any other object you will see this phenomenon. For exp. as we stop accelerating the vehicle it reduces its speed and comes to rest.

When a bicycle is moving, generally two forces are acting on it...... 1.force applied by us through pedal to move it 2.resistance force applied by the surface of road contacting with the tyre of bicycle... which try to stop the bicycle bicycle moves because the magnitude of force applied by the person...

In ideal case, when there is no frictional force present, the bicycle should keep moving at constant speed. In ideal case, when there is no frictional force present, the bicycle should keep moving at constant speed. But in real world, there is friction between mechanical linkages of bicycle and between road and bicycle tyre which producrs a retarding force acting opposite to our applied force. So, when we stop pedaling the bicycle, the retarding force due to friction becomes greater than accelerating force applied by human pedaling the bicycle. Due to this reason, the bicycle starts to slow down. read less

If energy is neither created nor destroyed then from where do we get energy?
It changes from one form of energy to other form or energy. Eg: like a ball falling from height have potential energy initially when at rest and when it keeps on falling it turns into kinetic energy

If number of electrons in an atom is 8 and number of protons is also 8, then (i)what is the atomic number of the atom? and (ii) what is the charge on the atom?
As given no. of protons is 8 so the atomic no. would be 8... As no. of protons and no. of electrons are equal so the atom will be neutral...
