apply Newtons 3rd law of motion- Action = reaction Kinetic energy of sheel = Kinetic energy of gun 0.020*80*80/2 = 100*v*v/2 v = 1.13 metre/sec hence recoil speed of gun = 1.13 metre/sec

In Youngâ??s double slit experiment, the two slits are illuminated by two different lamps having same wavelength of light. Explain with reason, whether interference pattern will be observed on the screen or not.

interference pattern will not be observed on the screen........because interference can only be occured when the source of light is coherent i.e both have constant phase difference..........Here light from two independent source(lamp) can not have constant phase difference.

When a bicycle is moving, generally two forces are acting on it......

1.force applied by us through pedal to move it

2.resistance force applied by the surface of road contacting with the tyre of bicycle... which try to stop the bicycle

bicycle moves because the magnitude of force applied by the person is more that resistive force ......

but whwn we stop pedalling it.......force applied by us become zero........and resistive force become more.......which result in slow down of speed of bicycle.......
