Mark on syllabus that what you already know and what you don't . Just study the new stuff in physics and revise the topics that you well know with recently study topic, that will make you better clear about both within short period of time

As you complete one chapter make sure you make its short notes. Try to cover whole chapter in 1-2 pages and keep revising them periodically
