More than B.Sc or B.Tech, the extent to which one does justification for either of these two matters a lot.
If you're hell bent in doing B.Tech just for the heck of it or for lucrative purposes only, it wouldn't do you a world of good for you.
B.sc can both be used as a platform for masters and as a self-sufficient degree in itself.

A B.Sc is better for you if you love to study and want to pursue a research career or want to take up a job as a teacher (you would also require masters degree for that). On the other hand, if your aim is to get a job then B.Tech is your destination. Having said that, you could also become a teacher by pursuing M.Tech after completing your B.Tech. It all depends on what your priority is and what you love.
