A B.Sc is better for you if you love to study and want to pursue a research career or want to take up a job as a teacher (you would also require masters degree for that). On the other hand, if your aim is to get a job then B.Tech is your destination. Having said that, you could also become a teacher by pursuing M.Tech after completing your B.Tech. It all depends on what your priority is and what you love.

The fee structure for B.Tech in VIT is relatively higher compared to other top engineering colleges across the country. However, they do have scholarships and give upto 50-75% off on the tuition fee depending upon your VITEEE score.
Honest opinion from a graduate: Even if you don't have a good rank in VITEEE and don't get scholarships, go for their B.Tech programme because the level of placement and exposure you will receive would easily compensate for your B.Tech course investment.

A B.Tech in CSE is equivalent to an MCA. However if you are not pursuing B.Tech CSE and want to go for MCA then all it requires is preparation and a little bit of effort and struggle to cope up with the stream. Once you are in, life will be much easier and MCA students do get good placements from reputed colleges across India like NITs.
