Now you have social media, news websites, video streams (YouTube etc), movie/channel streams (Netflix, Amazon Prime), thousands of blogs, huge organizational data, medical records and the list is endless. Most of these data sources were non existent a few years ago. And still there is a huge challenge in deriving knowledge out of this data and is yet to be completely solved. Now in addition to this there are further more data-sources getting added with IOT, autonomous cars, and in almost every field data is becoming more crucial and since we have not yet overcome the already existent challenges while there are more lined up so you can imagine for yourself what the future could be in big data domain. read less
