I am from computer science background. I do HTML5 and CSS but i want to learn Big data or DevOps. I am very much confused about which one to choose and which have a great future. Can anyone suggest?

If you are coming to Bigdata side (hadoop), day by day our data size increasing in all most all the domains.. like banking, finance, health care, insurance...etc and lot of unstructute data coming into picture and performance becoming more challenge... to provide solutions for these issues hadoop came into picture.. So, DevOps requires a lot of technical knowledge and experience and to become a DevOps engineer, you should have hands-on on a variety of technologies viz. It certainly give you benefit. But path is long & not so easy. It dons't mean too long or tough. Take around 6 months of exhaustive learning. You also need to learn some related applications/system for execution.

I have done my PGDITM(POST GRADUATION DIPLOMA IN Information Technology MANAGEMENT) with FINANCIAL SYSTEMS specialization in 2014. I didn't get a job until now. The reasons that I am getting rejected for is that my graduation is B.TECH and my PG is also in IT. This was the reason given by the companies after asking for a feedback.
