I am from computer science background. I do HTML5 and CSS but i want to learn Big data or DevOps. I am very much confused about which one to choose and which have a great future. Can anyone suggest?

If you are coming to Bigdata side (hadoop), day by day our data size increasing in all most all the domains.. like banking, finance, health care, insurance...etc and lot of unstructute data coming into picture and performance becoming more challenge... to provide solutions for these issues hadoop came into picture.. So, DevOps requires a lot of technical knowledge and experience and to become a DevOps engineer, you should have hands-on on a variety of technologies viz. Java, Python, Hadoop, SQL, PLSQL, WebServices, NoSQL, deployment tools, Version control tools, etc. Wise decision would be to start with Hadoop and explore the opportunities in Big Data..... Python is not mandatory for learning spark. But if you have some core Java skills, that will be the add on to learn spark.

How much beneficial it would be for me to get a job as certified business analyst if I pursue a course in BIG DATA AND R as I am a commerce graduate and having experience in banking.
It certainly give you benefit. But path is long & not so easy. It dons't mean too long or tough. Take around 6 months of exhaustive learning. You also need to learn some related applications/system for execution.
